Situated on the first floor of a Wine Makers Domaine, built in 1880, when the wine industry boomed in the Corbieres, the Apartment has been restored to its original late 19th century glory. It has a gorgeous Juliet balcony, exposed beams,  tiled floors and a feature wood burner - there is also air conditioning for the summer months and, of course, there is wi fi.
 
The Apartment has a private  little courtyard on the ground floor in  the front of the house, next to the huge garage (for your use),  where you can relax in the sun, plus a huge & beautiful garden, only ten minutes walk from the house, where you can lounge, in total privacy, amidst the pomegranate, olive, quince. orange and lemon trees in front of a wild flower meadow  next to the River Orbieu.
 
Appartement de Roses et de Vignes is also in a wine making village, that of Ferrals les Corbieres. This is a bustling and friendly village of 1200 inhabitants and this village also provides all the amenities necessary for a holiday maker - a Bank/Post Office, Grocery Shop, Tabac,  Hairdresser, a Beauty Salon and a Bar/Restaurant and Pizzeria.  The village offers both tennis and basketball courts. The Apartment is just 9 miles from a river where you can experience 'wild swimming' and is exactly 35 minutes from a huge choice of beaches and the Mediterranean. 

These two gites are just 5 miles apart so are ideal for those who with to come on holiday in a group;  both are within easy reach of Carcassonne, Beziers & Perpignan airports,  they are 1.5 hrs drive from Toulouse & Montpellier airports.
