Thezan des Corbieres and Ferrals les Corbieres are ideally situated in the fabulous Languedoc (now called Occitanie) area of Southern France. Only 16 miles from the coast and with a choice of forty four beaches, yet in the heart of the Cathar Country which abounds with wonderful chateaux, vineyards, abbeys and ruined Cathar castles. Airports serving this area are many, Carcassonne and Beziers/Agde are the closest (24 miles away) but Toulouse, Montpellier and Perpignan are all within one and a half hours drive. If you are driving down we can recommend a good route plus convenient motels for overnight stays.

 

The A61 motorway is only 14 km from Thezan des Corbieres - 8km from Ferrals les Corbieres. Leave the motorway at the Lezignan-Corbieres exit (no 25) and follow the signs to Ferrals les Corbieres. For Thezan drive through Ferrals and, keeping on the same road, D611, you will see a sign to Thezan des Corbieres (9km). Continue on this road and you will drive through the tiny hamlet of Villerouge la Cremade and come to a 'main road' junction,  turn left and follow this road, still the D611, into Thezan.
